Deprecation notice
Please note cdrplatform-metrics-collation service is deprecated and removed from release 2.6.2. When upgrading to 2.6.2 and any version above, please uninstall the cdrplatform-metrics-collation helm chart using below command.
helm delete cdrplatform-metrics-collation -n cdrplatform
New Features
Addition of new content management switches
Three new content management switches have been added to the policy settings allowing for further sanitization of your files. These will all be set to Sanitze by default. The new settings are:
- Tracked Changes: This can be found on the Word and Excel policy sections.
- Hidden Data: These apply to the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint policy sections.
- Slide Notes: These apply on the PowerPoint policy section.
For further information on these settings please refer to the Embedded Engine policy documentation.
All protection settings are now grouped at the top of the protection settings page.
Previously Policy settings and ICAP settings were under 2 separate pages in the portal. These have now been grouped under the Protection settings page with a tabbed view making it easier to navigate between the different protection settings pages.
XML policies can be managed through the portal.
A new section has been added on the protection settings page called Validation settings. This will contain the XML validation policy, allowing for a more streamlined experience.

Ability to configure the maximum age for transient files on Halo storage drives
Can now set a maximum age for transient files to have before they are deleted. Files above this age will be deleted periodically.

The icon next to the logout button has been updated.
