    Article Summary

As a Glasswall customer, you will be granted a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable proprietary license which will give you the right to access and use our products for the agreed licensing terms.

    Licensing Terms
The License Term and Support & Maintenance period will be indicated in your purchase order contract. Your licensing term will commence from the date of Order purchase (unless specified otherwise), and will expire on the expiration date indicated in your contract.

    License Keys
Once you have completed purchase of a Glasswall product, you will receive the License Keys electronically.

    Grace Period

Glasswall allows users to continue using our products in some cases, such as a mission critical deployment, even if the licence has expired. This will be asserted in your licence agreement as either a strict or passive enforcement.

Glasswall License Keys operate under the following grace periods:

    Strict

    • If there is no set grace period, the product will cease to operate at the start of your expiry date, unless renewed.
    • If a grace period has been set, the product will cease to operate at the end of that grace period, unless renewed.

    Passive

    • If there is no set grace period, the product will continue to operate without any restrictions.
    • If a grace period has been set, the product will cease to operate at the end of the grace period.

Regardless of whether your license agreement has a strict or passive grace period, there could also be a maximum grace period set for you from the end of your license expiry date. This means that the product will cease to operate after that date.
