Archive Support

The Archive Support functionality ensures users can safely receive archive files.

Features

This feature leverage’s our existing patented CDR technology to clean and rebuild multiple documents in an archive file to match their known good manufacturer’s standard.

Supported Archive Types

• Zip
• 7-Zip
• BZip2
• GZip
• Rar
• Tar

How does it work?

• Archive files containing a nesting limit of up to 5 archive levels are supported.
• Archive files exceeding 5 nested levels will result in a failure message.
• Archive files containing unlimited unarchived nested level folders and files are supported (within limitations of your file counter).

WinRAR

This implementation of RAR support only reads uncompressed files. There is no support for compressed files, multi volume RAR files, or files encrypted with a password. This implementation will only read RAR files whose host OS has been set as WIN32 or UNIX.

Note: currently only up to WinRAR 4.0 is supported.
